• Our House Manager lives on site and will greet you, show you around, and assist with any needs. For non-urgent matters, please contact him during working hours (8 AM – 6 PM), and use the WhatsApp group for requests at any time, especially on Sundays.
  • Mas Edem is a vacation rental, not a hotel. Household supplies (toilet paper, garbage bags, soap, etc.) are not restocked by the cleaning team unless you have chosen the Essentials package. Please check with your booking agency if needed. For full restocking, see our Click&Collect service.
  • The house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Trash must be taken to the public bins outside the main gate.
  • Parties over 24 guests and loud music are not permitted. Report any issues, stains, or damages within 24 hours of arrival via WhatsApp with a photo.
  • Do not move heavy furniture or cut garden flowers without permission.
  • Only toilet paper should be flushed, as the house uses a septic tank—improper use may result in a charge.

 

Waste sorting:
Three bins are at the estate entrance: glass, recyclables (paper, plastic, packaging), and general waste.

 

Keys and Access:
You’ll receive one set of keys and a remote for the gates. Do not block gates open. There is an alarm and video intercom; ask the House Manager for instructions. Most doors have dedicated keys—please leave them in place. Lock all doors at night.

 

Kitchen:
The right tap provides drinking water; the left, softened water for cooking. Dispose of garbage in the appropriate bins. Use the 1-hour program for dishwashers. There is a special glass washer—ask for instructions. Use only dishwashing liquid on cooktops.

 

Cleaning and Linen:
If included, cleaning is usually at 1:30 PM on weekdays. For extra cleaning, contact the House Manager. Towels should stay in bathrooms; pool towels are by the pool. Ask staff for extra linen or towels if needed.

 

Air Conditioning:
The main system is controlled by the House Manager. Some rooms have individual units. Keep doors and windows closed for best efficiency. Annex rooms have independent split systems.

 

Pool:
The pool is heated from May 15 to October 15. Please close the cover each night. Pool cleaning is every Thursday. Use pool towels, not room towels, by the pool.

 

Wifi and Telephone:
Wifi network: “MAS EDEM” (no password). Nine hotspots cover the property. The phone in the library allows free calls in France and abroad.

 

Sound System and TV:
Music can be played via the Sonos app. Do not move speakers or change settings. The TV in the library works via the internet box and offers foreign channels.

 

Leisure and Sports:
Tennis, petanque, and table tennis equipment are provided. For night lighting, ask the House Manager. The gym has TechnoGym equipment—children should not use it. Replace covers after use. In the cinema room, do not unplug equipment. For presentations, ask the House Manager. The cinema has TV, Netflix, and Apple TV.

 

Emergencies:
For urgent medical help, contact the House Manager or call 18 or 112. For poison ingestion, call the Marseille Poison Center: 04 91 75 25 25. For non-urgent care, the Apt Hospital ER is 20 minutes away and open 24/7. Doctors and pharmacies are listed for your convenience.
